Very quickly some of the Companies involved are squealing and dismissing hundreds of workers.

Welcome to the real world Companies. We've been squealing for a very long time over the price of fuel whether it be Gas, Electricty or Petrol and Diesel at the pumps.

The difference is we are not able to protect our 'profits' because most of us don't have any!

Just lets you see how these people operate doesn't it? Put the price up yippeee! Be forced to cut the price and hey hang on, get rid of staff quick!

What say you members? Has your Utility Bill been cut by 30% due to costs spiral downhill? I doubt it, but E-On has apparently offered 3% or thereabouts. What about the other 27%?

I was surprised to learn the price of a bag of coal this week --my mate says its £20 per bag.

In the 'old days' we would have been making paper logs to burn, rather than pay what seems an horrendous price to pay for a bit of warmth.

I remember sitting and making paper logs for my mum to start the fire when I was little.

We filled the car up yesterday an even though I had 20 pence a litre off at Tesco, before the saving was taken off I did notice a big drop in the price of a full tank of petrol.

That said I do wonder when the household utility bills will be coming down in line with petrol and diesel.

At the risk of breaking the 'no politics' rule, it is interesting to note how the collapse of the price of oil has made the Scots seek the support of the English once more over tax breaks etc for the oil industry. If Mr Salmond had succeeded in his wishes, it would have been interesting to know what he would have done about the collapse of the oil price.

And with the Ebola case Edward. Looked after in a London hospital, mind you glad she appears to be okay, but I get what you say!

I take it all members with cars are filling up with a smile on their face as the price of fuel drops?

How much difference did it make to buying the other fuel, the nectar so called?

I meant the real Nectar actually James, the wee dram.

I must admit the fuel price does make a difference, but I wonder if prices in the shops will follow?
