Things are so "up in the air" this year....and for the first time in 10 years we had to pay in on our taxes this year. I was kind of hoping for money back toward another truck for hubby by next year...I don' tthink I'm going to make it now possibly. He just left for Scout "round table" meeting tonight. Already had to many health problems that may not be 100 per cent paid to save much money. Neighbor gal is taking out thiertrailer as she has an Marathon Heart Fund raiser to go to also this weekend. I told the other nieghbor I'd try to run off some data and get her family papers to her by early next week. This is an Strothers/Cornnet/Lewis/Washington/Arron Brock=Red Bird lineage. Someone took over their ancestral home in Conway, Virginia and opened up this huge huge Bed an Breakfast after renovating it in 2013. Other then that not much going on..such an warm day I walked twice in our area today, planted some flowers I'd bought today for Spring...added three "Queen Elizabeth" grand flora Pink Roses to my other ones. Reminds me of my comment to dad...Well, gee, they have Mum's for the mommies, what do they have for the daddies...he says "poppies"?...Shirley poppies at that!... I laughed. ..I'll be back on the diet scene full time "strict" come mid-next week for the rest of the year until next October....48th wedding anniversay Tuesday. Last time I checked I had lost 7 pounds from Christmas and gained it back from birthdays...and have no idea where I stand right now, other then trying to get my "prescripstions" renewed...made an doctor appt today also. I go for now. It just had the smell of spring in the air today...everyone was out walking...didn't even have to wear an coat either. Put out squirrel food and more bird food...they were out also. |

Only joking of course, I know exactly what you mean, but it was something that we might have done as a courting couple. After you hook the fish, you get it in the net so to speak and don't bother again, do you? What say you members, do you still take your partner out for a Valentines Day dinner? Hi to all POEsters... |
