Jason T Posts: 7421 Joined: 14th Apr 2004 Location: UK | Posted at 23:09 on 2nd December 2007 Ian, you really do need to go to ashness bridge, its such a great view, Walla crag is very close, and the views from up there are stunning, and the effort of getting up there only moderate I've camped up here so many times and every time is like the first, stunning place. |

You will enjoy the Lake District, but as I have said before be prepared to walk. Easdale Tarn from Grasmere, Haystacks said to be Wainwright,s favouriite mountain are good walks and not to difficult. Look up Ann Bowker.s Mad about Mountains or David Hall Lake District Walks Both give a good insight into walking in the Lake with plenty of pictures. Any further help let me know |
