Thanks, Andy and Diana.  I agree Diana, York is awesome!  The city is just the right size, not too big or too small, with so much interesting history.  And the best thing about it is you only have to drive a mile or two out of town and you're in spectacular scenery with the two national parks and all the little market towns.  It breaks my heart every time I send pics to POE because I want to go back there so badly!  Andy, you're so lucky to live where you live.

I wonder how many people living in England are unaware of all the beauty and history that is surrounding them.

Andy you are so lucky to live there!  When I finally get back to York I hope you are available to show me around. I'd love to get out into the country side, and I'd LOVE to tour James Herriot country!

Just come back from there Sue although you could hardly see it for the sea mist this year! It is one of the most beautiful places on earth in my opinion and Marizion hasn't changed at all in the 40 years I have been going there. I miss it already!
