I just looked at your photos, Andy.  Wonderful!  Couldn't you have gotten a little closer to the common darter?  LOL

I love taking photos of insects as well Andy, especially if you use the Macro settings, you can get such fine detail! Your photos are great!

Cheers. I've just got a new filter for the camera (which has built-in macro) and it allows me to get really close in. I'm amazed at how many insects there are around if you stop and look...usually I'm looking up the trees for birds, but while there's plenty of leaves in the trees I've decided to concentrate on the wee animals. It's great fun!

I agree Andy. Its a small world, lol. I started to get into close ups of little creepy crawleys. Its great fun.
