Of course I've been looking at all of Chris and Sarah's pictures of Shotover they just posted, as this is where I grew up (yes, I actually grew up 'up Shotover'), so you can imagine, I'm now very homesick.

Here is one picture of a path I have waked down since I was a tiddler. Ah, the memories.

Strolling, just strolling, In the cool of the evening air, I don't envy the rich in their automobiles, For a motor car is phoney. I'd rather have Shanks's pony.

I can remember it too(and I'm not 75either!!)-------- Flanagan & Allen & that fur coat Flanagan?   used to wear .  I think we should be on another thread!
