The Harvest Festivals were a lovely time that I remember SueH, a great time of the year for our little local villages as I lived in a rural area. Smile

I'll never forget what my dear old neighbour said to me a couple of times after attending the Harvest Festival at my lads school when they were about 5 or 6 years old. She said, some of the old uns just don't realise what a sacrifice has been made by the kiddies parents in donating the food for us oldies, some of them are greedy and moan if they don't get as much as the person next to them!!!  Why don't they realise that the people donating are the ones who can least afford it!! She was such a lovely old lady to have as a neighbour and treated my lads as if they were her own, and when she died she was sorely missed.

And it looks like the leaves are changing in Lancashire.  Thanks, Sue Bristo!
