It's a bit like most cities and large towns Stephanie, a mixture of good and bad. I honestly don't mind it, it compares favourably with a lot of places I've been to.

One of my old girlfreinds from way back told me one night she was engaged to a milkman from Watford. I thought that very unusual for her to come out with such a comment; I'd thought he came from Wembley.

I love going into old English Churches, especially at Harvest Festival. It brings back memories of my childhood. I love the smells of all the produce and flowers, especially chrysanthemum's .

If any of you fancy checking out old churches when they have their Harvest Festival and taking pictures then posting them here, you'd be making a very homesick person very happy.

Until then, here is a picture Jan Minter posted that is so beautiful.
