These two photos are stunning. The sky, the colors, the reflection in the water...lovely, Sarah.

I note Ron wrote: "And with Autumn upon us, a great opportunity for some more fantastic POE member pictures. Beautiful England!"

Well, I hate to admit this, but I was in the UK recently (first two weeks of September) and the weather was grand. NOT cold, NOT wet. Perfect!!  In fact, at present here in Sydney, it is wet, cold and miserable !!  And this is our Spring!!!

Sue, you could sled right down into the front door (and probably right out the back, taking out the butler, the chambermaid and assorted items of furniture)! You're right, though, it is a beautiful shot.

And regarding your avatar photo . . . do you live on Tatooine? I swear I can just make out Luke Skywalker's landspeeder in the distance!

Here is one of my favourites taken by Alan Thompson: Roseberry Topping in Yorkshire. Has some significance for me in that James Cook climbed this as a boy, then went on to greater and better things (i.e Australia!!!)

Ha!

I have a little card in my wallet that identifies me as a Resident Alien, so you may very well be right, Rob.
