You forgot 'Pisshill' Michael. Pishill (generally pronounced 'pishle' rather than 'piss hill') is a small hamlet some 5 or 6 miles north of Henley on Thames, Oxfordshire. Any connection with the Beatles? You bet, but I wonder who knows?

I wish I could say I knew the Beatles connection with Pishill but don't.  Perhaps Ron will enlighten me?

One of the things I love about England is the interesting, quirky place names and pub names.  I enjoy finding out what they mean and how they came by their names.  I can think of no other country that has such wonderful names.
