I first came upon this site when looking up places to visit in the Cotswolds. I would also like to add that the site is also useful for providing information about the festivals, carnivals and customs that England has to offer. You may not like the site but you appear to be arrogant and extremely narrow minded. I also think your remarks are extremely unkind. Why don't you set up an alternative website if you think you can do any better.

Indeed, your caustic comments almost seem personal which seem hard to fathom considering you never made any real effort to become part of what you condemn. I feel compelled to defend Chris and Sarah who have so diligently and lovingly toiled to build this site (and may I add, at great cost both monetarily and personally). POE is truly a place where anyone need only "speak friend, and enter". To criticize the photographs here displayed is to criticize the members who so diligently spent their time to take them and to share them with us. If you don't like someones work then move on to those ones that you do enjoy and keep your opinions to your self. Furthermore you demonstrate a great lack of appreciation to the untold hours Chris and Sarah spend pouring through, sorting, and organizing the photos so that they are beautifully displayed and easy to find. While you are entitled to your opinion I feel that your barrage of acid comments were both unkind and inappropriate. Your tirade reveals volumes more about you than it does to hurt POE. All you needed to do was to quietly leave. Whereas, under different circumstances I would have wished you a fond farewell, I simply now wish you good riddance. Let it be known to all who enter here, when you criticize so as to attack rather than instruct, you offend the entire POE family.

Perhaps you will find what your looking for elsewhere because it certanly isnt here. |
