We have now covered the ISLES OF SCILLY, CORNWALL & DEVON on our whistle stop tours and these will be found under the thread English Counties -Whistle Stop Tour.  Any photos and tour suggestions for these counties can be added to that thread and I look forward to seeing all your other ideas.

I have now started a tour for DORSET only and here are my plans for this morning's explorations into the beautiful county of Dorset.

After a good breakfast of course, I'm leaving Lyme Regis and heading to Charmouth where I'm going up to the Golden Cap to check out the view

Perhaps I should point out here that all the information I add to the tours comes solely from the POE site, I choose the routes for the tours from the maps on POE, read about the towns and what attractions and surrounding villages there are, look for photos and accommodation, and choose from those listed.

I don't have the personal knowledge of the localities and am relying heavily on those who have visited to add their stories and recommendations.  So do join in and add any information or pics which would add to the whole experience for people planning a trip to Dorset.

Cathy, I sooooo enjoyed the tour you put together. I am working on organizing the ones for Tynemouth and South Shields from my May/Jun 2009 visit to England.  I will try to organize my tours from my own personal experiences and my own pictures as elementary as they might be.... You have given me the direction in which to organize my tour. You are very talented and I am thankful for your assistance.... trvljet
