It's a great trip you put together, a complete guid for visiting Kent. Also know as "The Garden of England" a honorable title well deserved. There is a single thing I like to add on your tour. Between Dover and Folkestone is a smaal place with a French sounding name Capel Le Ferne. Passing this town on the B2011 heading Folkstone on your left hand site you will find a great memorial dedicated to The Batlle of Britain. You are welcomed by the Famous words of Churchil "Never in the field of honor…" Picture by Ted van Onzen There are a couple of old planes on a static display Picture by Ted van Onzen Picture by Ted van Onzen

Picture by Ted van Onzen It's a impressive place to visit and it reminds you that thanks to those guys we can still visit the England that's so dear to us. So if anyone is in that area and would care to take some photos that would be great. |

Please feel free to add any photos, descriptions, information, stories, etc. here in Kent and any of the other Whistle Stop Tours for Isles of Scilly, Cornwall and Devon (that was the first one), Dorset, Hampshire & the Isle of Wight. The more information, the better the tour becomes. |
