Try entering the name of your home County in the top left Search box and scroll through the Cities, Towns, Villages and Attractions relating to that County - do you see any "Green boxes containing the words "Awaiting Photographs"? So what is the Challenge? The Challenge is to see if we can put a photograph (more than one preferably) in each of those "Awaiting Photograph" boxes, so that we end up with a picture for everywhere on POE. Is anyone up for this Challenge? Got nothing to do tomorrow? Looking for somewhere different to go? Why not have a fun day out and add to the images on POE and fill the gaps?

It is getting onto the border with Hampshire. As a footnote just a bit further down the A3 at Hindhead ( where the famous Devil's Punchbowl can be found) the new tunnel is nearing completion. Hindhead has long been a bottleneck on the A3 , and once the tunnel is opened in the summer I think the A3 will be dual -carriage from London to Portsmouth. The other weekend an organised walk through the tunnel took place but for ticket holders only of which only a fraction of those who wanted tickets were able to go due to high demand. |
