Everything was fine and then suddenly it turned black and died. The laws regarding them must be somewhat the same here as in the UK because now I'm having a problem even getting rid of the darn dead thing. Nobody wants to take it and I have to wait for a special day and take it to a special place for disposal. So at the moment it's sitting (in all it's dead glory) outside my door on the back deck waiting for disposal day. At 61, I have to put it where I'll trip over it on a regular basis so that I'll remember. Think I'll get a fish.

I speak and spell "American". LOL It used to be that everything went to the "dump" (another American word) but you can't do that anymore. All computer equipment has to go to a special site and where I live, it's only on a certain day every month, so the poor dead monitor shall continue to rest in peace on my deck. Tripping over it reminds me that it's there to be dealt with. Those of you over 60 understand that. Have any of you seen that article about how the queen wants to take America back because we've screwed things up and can't seem to manage on our own? Quite funny!! If anyone wants to see it let me know. ?? I think I still have it?? Yet another "senior moment"

I am over 60 too, so if I have take anything out with me, I put it by the front door, so I trip over it on the way out. Good way to remember not to forget. He he he. |

I've been away with a broken computer, which is even more painful than a broken monitor, believe me. Hope you find time to chat on the forums often. |
