I love this site and have contributed pictures for a several years. My thanks to Chris and Sarah. I'm a real anglophile and have had a life long love affair with England and its history. My special areas of interest are the Plantagenets, Roman Britain and the kings of Wessex. I've been coming over to explore for 23 years and still haven't seen everything I want to see. I'm not a professional photographer by any stretch of the imagination but I hope you all enjoy my pictures. I now do small group tours of England and love playing tour guide. I take 10 at a time and tour the back roads. We really have a great time and I get the chance to be in "my beloved England". I've always said that I was born in the wrong country about 700 years to late.

Lewis Tours in Oxford, which you might like to consider for your next trip to England. I know the American people are passionate about C. S. Lewis whom I was lucky enough to meet as a 10 year old boy thanks to Douglas Gresham (one of the two stepsons of Lewis through marriage to American Jewess, Joy Gresham - nee Davidman). Douglas and I are friends to this day, 50 plus years later! Pictures Of England.com (Chris and Sarah) are the official sponsors of my tour which you can see at www.cslewistours.com and for which I am truly grateful, thanks again POE for your support, and well done for bringing us all together on England Forums! |

Once my children have flown the coup I may have to look into that. I hope you get to check back on the site often Cheri, now that we have Ron livening up the boards I say we PAR-TAY . |

Like I said, I'm not a professional but I do my best. Sadly, I won't be there this year. Due to cancellations (dollar vs. pound) I've had to cancel the tour. Just can't do it with only 4 people. Oh well, I'll dream of "my beloved England" and try again next year. If any of you are interested in writing, my e-mail is uktours4u@volcano.net.
