 I imagine some things have changed a since you lived in T.O. If i may ask, were you a student then?  I haven't been in there in about 10 yaers, since my son was an infant. I still have close friends though who visit me whenever they can. My little cottage (rental) in the country is a popular summer visit!

Hello Rose, wellcome to the site and to this forum. I spent a lot of time in Canada, up in the New found Territories, as it was known then. But manely in Newfoundland and Labrador, wonderfull country. This was many many years ago.

I have a friend who knows something about Cob Building I will try to find out about it from him and E-Mail you any results I may get. Glad you like the site.

I love Quebec, though I've only been to Quebec City once! My youngest daughter is a fanatic though and hopes to go there next year as an exchange student. Her goal is to be a French teacher in a French immersion school. I also love cob building also straw bale, but I'm afraid I can't convince my hubby. I think he needs to go visit some "proper" ones in jolly old!
