I am guessing you know people there?

My brother's been living In Westford for many years and I sometimes go visiting.  I would come more often if I didn't feel that deeply uncomfortable with long flights Embarassed .

I've never heard of "Last of the Summer Wine", or "Citizen Smith", or "Heartbeat"; maybe they haven't made it to PBS or BBC America yet.  I'll keep an eye out though, I always love discovering a new British sitcom (at least new to me)!

I confess that I never developed a liking for AbFab, although, it is very popular here.  I do like Midsomer Murders very much.  Also, there was a short series awhile back called "Murder Rooms - The Dark Beginnings of Sherlock Holmes" which was great. Also, "My Family" has recently started showing on BBC America and I am really enjoying that.

Maria, I completely sympathize with your aversion to flying.  I actually don't mind it except that I always wind up on red-eye flights and I find it impossible to sleep on flights.  Whenever I go to London my flights always arrive at around 6:00AM and forcing myself to stay up until 7:PM or 8:PM when I can go to bed and get a decent night's sleep.  It seems to work though; I never seem to suffer "jet-lag" while there.

Peter, Ron told me you and your family are regulars on National Geographic. LOL.

Good Morning Diana,

Heartbeat won't be on BBC, as it is shown on ITV.  Think it is filmed in yorkshire and the countryside is just gorgeous!

Diana

You mean old, or animals? He can't even say it, let alone spell it had you not done so!

Ron,

I don't presume to know what you meant when you called Peter a mouth breather and said that he was the first one from his family out of the trees? Undecided
