Sorry Diana, I hadn`t got threw all the threads yet. How wonderful, Boston such an historic city. I`ve never been there but have been through 29 of the states. We have something in common-traveling (my last trip was to England/Scotland), museums, theater (the play-Gaslight at the Old Vic in London) and interior decorating ( I`ve studied for about the last 15 years and my last job 1 1/2 years as head of the Home Decor Dept. at a large home improvement store). I love interior decorating. I also love to read-currently I`m reading Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and over christmas I read my first classic-Oliver Twist which was from a book published in 1896.

Wow Kelly, it sounds like we have a lot in common.  I envy you working in a Home Decor Department.  That must be such fun!

Ah yes, the Harry Potter books are some of my favorite books. Although I don't read much fiction as a rule.

Diana, sorry it's taken so long to reply, I'm not the fat controller this week!! Yes, it is very much how you see it on TV, there's a place just south of Whitby called Goathland which is transformed into Aidensfield in the 'Heartbeat' series on the telly. It has a steam railway that runs to Pickering and is very, very well worth visiting. Yorkshire is a very rural county really, outside all the major cities like Leeds, Bradford, Sheffield, York and Hull there is wonderful countryside, all very diverse. We have the dales, the wolds, the moors and the coastline...we have it all. It's the biggest county in England and is split into North, South, East and West Yorkshire.....I know I'm a bit bias but it's fabulous!!
