Ayup to you to, Frank.  Is W. Yks as pretty as North?  We got to see a little bit of it on the bus from Leeds-Bradford Airport to York and what we saw was quite beautiful.

Lol, ayup lass.

Aye West Yorkshire is lovely too.

I have uploaded a few photos of Kirkstall Abbey which isn't very far from the Leeds/Bradford airport, about 10 minutes away infact.

If you've ever watched Last Of The Summer Wine or Where The Heart Is, you'll have sen more of West Yorkshire than you think because they are both filmed around here.

Aye, (I love that expression!)  Last of the Summer Wine is one of my favorite shows.  I'll check out the Kirkstall stuff.  Thanks, Frank.

In that case you'll have seen a lot of this area. Last of the Summer Wine is filmed here (Slaithwaite), Holmfirth, Marsden, and Golcar. They've even filmed in my ex mother-in-laws living room. lol

Wow, Frank, that's too cool!!  We've only just got LOTSW here in the last year, so we've only seen the ones from the 70's.  I think there was an episode when Nora Batty was riding on a pillion.  On second thought, I think it was a sidecar.

Denzil, what was the filming in your living room for?

Inquiring minds want to know, Lyn.  I hope Denzil's still up.  I don't very often get to participate in these live chats.
