Lyn, in my younger days I would have a go at anything and anybody (nothing changed there then eh?) but never the boat race!

As for your comment Peter regarding my taking part in the gurning contest, at least I would have to deliberately twist my face into an irregular shape to take part, unlike you!

That gurning contest takes place not far from where I live.  It's at a place called Egremont.  And am glad to say I have never entered.  You have to be knocking on a bit (I suppose that comments not fair, you have to have a certain uglyness about you)Surprised and have false teeth.  It is also known as crab fair.

Another thing Karen, even at 63 (in November this year) I still have all my own teeth so you see gurning is not for me, I'm a pretty boy!! Unlike Peter the pillock!!

Look Ron, I wear a mask so as not to make you feel inadiquate. If I remove it, you will see just how handsome I am and suffer the problem of fealing inadequate. I am not that nasty mate.
