Hello !!

My name is Patrick and I live near Antwerp, Belgium. Although I live quite close, I rarely visit beautiful England :( (my wife adores the sun) but thankfully I found this amazing site. I 'm trying to convince her to spent at least one holliday in the uk in this lifetime and sometimes I sent her some pictures from this site to support my bid.

So please keep posting amazing pictures (if possible with a lot of sunshine) so she'll be convinced

Hi Patrick

Welcome to POE and the forum.  The pics on here are brilliant.  Tell your wife that we do get hot weather every now and then, it's not always raining, ha ha.

Enjoy

Karen

Hi Patrick:

Welcome to POE.  It's a wonderful site - and England is fantastic!  I hope you have the opportunity to visit soon, as Sue H. said, you and your wife won't regret it.  Here's a lovely shot, it's in East Sussex.  The photographer is Trevor Webster.

Many thanks for the answers! there's still hope. I've introduced her to midsomer murders and she's a fan too now (that great serie is my main instrument to get her interested in the English countryside)

I'm vistiting this site for a year now and it takes a lot of time to check them all. I've already got a lot in my 'favourites'.

Consider yourself lucky living in such a beautiful country. I'm very envious!

Thanks for the great picture Ruth!

Welcome to this great website Patrick.  Midsomer Murders is perhaps not the best to watch - it's a wonder there are any people left alive there!  Some of us here are still very much alive.
