Well, yes, I guess so, Peter, but as Wolf explained, tabbies (Oh dear, I mean YABBIES!Laughing, are fresh water crustaceans.  From memory, and my time in hotels in England, Scimpies, here we go again, Maria...I mean SCAMPIES, (Freudian slips!?)Embarassed were a smaller, clawless lobster

Your place sounds lovely, Harry.

It really is too big for us now, Ruth.  We had horses...always had horses..the last was my daughter's beautiful, black, Quarterhorse, who had to be put down following a severe foot complaint.

Fo those who are not familiar horses, the Quarterhorse was bred in the US. and was, due to its shortish legs and large-ish rump (sounds a bit like me, 'cept I have long legs! it could quickly run, turn, and return over the  quarter mile, making it an excellent animal for rounding up wayward cattle.

We have, since living here, had sheep, goats, pigs, and even a heifer...all as pets.  My daughter, who lives at home, has slowly depleted her stock.  She is aware that Mary and I find it difficult to help her now in our latter years.

n, trn and return over the quarter mile
