I'm new here also, welcome, it looks like they are keeping you busy with your advice, I use to have an bit of an problem, you see when I asked an new prospective employee to fill out her application for an job, she she did so telling me that she was getting married an needed the job to help with expenses, and on our application forms there's an place for you to fill out whom to contact in case of an emergency..and she put down her fiancee' and beside the word "relationship" she wrote so proudly..."Yes"
I did not hire her, but I sure have remebered her through the years...you see I didnt' have anyone back in those days like you to consult...so I was totally perlexed by the situation. I at times in today's world, like the simplicty in the thinking at times now. We each have an valuable place in the world and much knowledge in things to offer each other in life. I haven't' slopped hogs, but I've raised rabbits, quail, ducks, besides the ususal domesticalted animals. this use to be an cow pasture here where I live now when I was an child. They have put in over 1,000 new houses, and two new schools in 30 years. Enjoy your country style living while while you have it.

Well Shirl (canna I call yew Shirl?), welcome to yew darlin’.  It be right nice to read yer comment but yew use some high faluten word thar, an ole Aunt Miya ain’t shur she understands ya. But Isa give it a try.  This here gurl what wrote “yes” by relationship was probly a flirtin’ with ya honey.  In my part of the country folks don’t swing thata way (at least not out in public like, unlessen it be with a cow or sheep or somethin’ acceptable like that) but maybes they do where yew is from.  Yew done right not ta hire her, cause yer luv life shouldna be confused with yer workin’ life.

Yuk, I don't want to be around no smelly pigs.  Thanks anyway, Miya.  I know there's a charming little inn, just across the state line in Tennessee, called the Bug Tussle Inn.  That might be better.

Tha Big Tussle? Ewwweee! Them folks in Tennerrsee jist call it what it be don't they?!  Well now, Aunt Miya be sad thata yew two youngins donna wanna stay with her but she understands.  That Queeny is a might en-ho-spit-able like.  Denzil yew won't have no worries 'bout Booby Sue but that Frankie might warp yer deck.

Gee, I think you got it wrong, I think it was the grandmother in the hot purple sllk shorts that was more the flirtin kind, though she explained to me that she was already collecting un-employment and didnt' really want an job, but she had to put in applications everywhere to keep receiving un-employment checks. It didnt' help me to much when I heard the kitchen crew slapping themselves up against their department window, as we went by..taking an look a her...With broad grins from ear to ear.  I didn't hire her either. Somedays I think the slopping the pigs is an easier job to do. I did get an crew together though...eventually. I hired one little gal fresh out of college with an B. A. degree in chemistry, but never had any job expereince, another one that was still in college training to be an teacher, for her it was an summer job, plus I had my regulars, in an retired lady, and Irish war-bride mother of five, and an younger newly wed gal that had an hearing disabilty, and high school students, actually two fo them for weekends. I supervised an laundry in an nursing facitlity...doctor referral only...for about 10 years. Then I had my "little coot" so as to say.  I could of used you through the years at times.
