One of my proudest moments was years ago when my stepchildren asked,

" Can we call you Dad?"

That is special Wolf. It means that they trust you enough to be their support when they need it and love you enough to want you for their dad.

They say that we can't help what family we're born into but we get to chose our friends and that gives friends a special place in our hearts. I imagine the same is true for stepchildren. Your natural children may love you but to hear a child who is not yours by birth choose you as the parent they want must be special indeed.Smile

He's just acting like an typical "wolf"..family orientated....smiles*  I think our kids are indeed pretty special to us all. They can melt your heart, made you mad, all in five minutes time somedays..."love" binds us to them in many ways.
