Am I right in assuming that you lost your left leg in the accident from your avatar? My brother lost his right one in a car accident in March of 1983. Also his left eye. The whole left side of his face was crushed to fragments. He did die for a few minutes and came back. Would like to hear about what happened. Look forward to chatting with you! |

I was on a motorbike and I was hit turning right off a dual carriageway in Pattaya, Thailand, a pickup truck didn't stop for the red light. The first thing that I knew about it was when I came out of my coma three weeks later, that was almost eight years ago now. Now it is just a bit of a nuisance at times. Cheers for now Leglessfool |

I don't think my brother ever got over the emotional part. He has to drink beer every night, I think to help him sleep. I am so glad it was only your leg. It must be a pain to take the thing off and on all the time. My brother, Bill, has to take it off every afternoon for a rest. |

I drink beer every night, but I did that even before I was legless . At my computer here, I don't need my leg and I have my room arranged so that I never have to put it on again until I go outside. It is my payday today, so I have to put it on soon and go to the ATM, the nearest ATM to here is near the supermarket, so I can top up with beer at the same time . Cheers for now Leglessfool |
