I was in Singapore during the Indonesian Emergency on a TSU, working up country most of the time and based at Seletar. Mobile Air operations Team and Brigade Air Support Operations. I left Singapore in 1969, so just missed you!. Ray. |

In peacetime our military aircraft are flown by 'officers' who enter the service by commision. I'm afraid I was only 'ground' crew. i was involved in Photo recce work (you know the type of stuff) simular to the pics that caught missiles on the deck of the Russian ships heading for Cuba thus preventing a situation occuring between the 'States' and Castros Russian-backed Cuba in the '60's. |
