Hi Mike,

I have just gone into your pics and the pic in question seems to have vanished! Can you post me a link to it? Thanks

Ray.

Hi Again Mike,

I have found the picture. I used to be at RAF Bruggen where we had Pr7's and BI 6's. I was in Singapore during the Indonesian Emergency on a TSU, working up country most of the time and based at Seletar. Mobile Air operations Team and Brigade Air Support Operations. I left Singapore in 1969, so just missed you!.

Ray.

Hi Holly and welcome to Poe. Namao brings back a few memories as my Dad was based there in the RCAF when we moved to Edmonton in the latter 50s.

Hi Holly~ welcome~~ and when you get to England.. enjoy a loverly visit to a tea shop for me! I hope they still use those pierced, decorative paper doilies under the warm and tender scones...clotted cream and home made strawberry jam!

No anna, lol.  In peacetime our military aircraft are flown by 'officers' who enter the service by commision. I'm afraid I was only 'ground' crew. i was involved in Photo recce work (you know the type of stuff) simular to the pics that caught missiles on the deck of the Russian ships heading for Cuba thus preventing a situation occuring between the 'States' and Castros Russian-backed Cuba in the '60's.
