Hi everyone,

I'm Holly Parker from Namao, Alberta, Canada (just outside the city of Edmonton). Smile I'm formerly a Kindergarden-Grade 9 school library assistant who enjoys anything medieval and English. I'm a big fan of Corrie Street and have been since I was a kid. I have dreamed of visiting England as I've been tracing both my family tree and my hubbies. My plan is to get there in August close to when school starts again over there.

I'm wondering if there is anyone out there with information on Wrotham? My grandfather lived in the "Old Archbishops Palace" house (I have a picture of it with his siblings in front of it in my livingroom) so that is an area I definately want to visit.

Anyways, hope everyone has a great day. Take care.

Holly

Hi Holly and welcome to the site, hope you enjoy looking at all the great photos on here. I started tracing my family tree a few years ago and soon became hooked on the hobby. I don't really know much about  Wrotham only that it's in Kent so I won't be any use but I'm sure somebody else will be able to help.

Welcome to our ' great group of people' site. Holly, I am in northest england, and quite honestly I am not sure where Wrotham is, but I can surely find out.I am willing to help you find anything you need, which I can get access to from this end.England is home to my husband, and he knows it very well, so I will ask him about it as a starting point on your search. He loves doing geneology searches and if it did exist or does exist in the UK, chances are good that he has been there or knows of it.

This is a great site and the people here are willing to assist if they can. I look forward to reading more posts from you so join on in and once again Welcome.

Hello and welcome from Anna and Ron, Holly. Glad you found us here and look forward to helping out where we can as Beth suggests. I have no doubt that a member of the family will help you as per Lyn's comment above. You can start 'looking around' by typing 'Wrotham' into the search box on the top left hand corner of the page. You might be surprised what you find out from there. In fact as soon as I have sent this message I am going to look for myself out of curiosity.
