my garden.
"Baby steps Darren, this is slightly better as you have focused on the main flower, as Cathy said...just a suggestion but living in Rugeley how about taking pictures of the Power Station, they can be very good subjects, take the whole thing to show the wonderful architecture with good lighting (don't forget, sun behind you if possible) or go to Cannock Chase if you are able, trees are a great subject too and can offer good dappled sunlight, take your time and remember take loads on different settings and go home and sort them out, bet you get some good ones this weekend. But above all have fun doing it :) " - Karen Lee(19th August 2011)

"I think this is the best one so far. I like that you have 1 subject, you let it flow out of the frame, so it's not "squashed". The focus is much better and the details is showing up nicely. Well done!" - cathyml(19th August 2011)

"Did you take this one today Darren? I think it is better because you have concentrated on one flower. The lighting is better and gives nice shadows, the focus is a bit off, might have been a little too close for the lens!" - cathyml(19th August 2011)
