Dove Cottage near Grasmere, where William Wordsworth lived with his sister. Apparently he would walk the fells composing his poems, then she would write them down as he recited them!!

Looking north from the southern shores of Grasmere. Hard to believe less than 2 hours earlier we were at a very gloomy Pooley Bridge. Such is the Lake District's 'micro-climate'. It wouldn't be the same without it !
