Splash! One of the lions heads on the Town Hall Square Fountain, Leicester, close up view. I liked the water movement on this. The exposure is either 1/50th of a sec or 1/100. The lion looks a bit drippy if you'll pardon the pun. This picture appears in the following picture tours: |

Richard the Third statue in castle gardens Leicester I wasn't sure if this would be accepted or not. Technically its bad but it does have a certain atmosphere and differentness. Top Hat Terrace Leicester Not really scenic but intrigued me with the heads and its name. This is on London Rd near the railway station. I've since been told a famous detective lived here and the 3 heads at the top are the same man in different disguises. I have no idea if this is true or not. After a bit of research I found a lot of information about this building .It was dedicated to a famous detective and the disguises info was correct . His name was Tanky Smith circa 1840ish. Any search for top hat terrace will give you results. This picture appears in the following picture tours: |
