Very good David, really like the variety and depth of colour
Wonderful scene David and so rich in colour.
Great shot & info David .. though I find the colours a little too vivid in this instance. Thanks for your comment about Whitby & the uploading of "regular" seen images. Always difficult to know which ones to upload from such a popular place?
I agree with Martin that the colours are a bit strong but maybe you wanted to bring the foreground out ? A graduated efect might have been the answer or a selective use of saturation.
The colours are certainly vivid, but the overall effect is pleasant. The image has good sharpness, and must look superb at full resolution. Colour saturation is a personal preference, rather like the choice of which film to use in the old days (Kodachrome, Agfachrome, Provia, Velvia etc, they were all different but suited different tastes). A 'faithful' colour reproduction, which this is probably not, is not necessarily the most attractive.
