We've just had a fantastic, sunny weekend.

Motivation to go to work is below zero though !

We are in the middle of a huge wind storm. Surrounded my mountains on all sides, the wind gets trapped, and we have a terrible time of it.

Along with the wind, the desert sand blows until visibility is almost zero, then it tries to rain, but all we get is huge sand/dirt marks over everything.

Oh well, this too shall pass.

Blue sky here in Oxford, no noticeable ash, and a predicted ground and air frost again tonight.

Around 40 deg C,scorching sun and unusually for this part of India very dry.

A friend of ours is going to England next week for a two week's training course and I am dying of envy.

I went for a walk in the snow this morning. I am really fed up with the snow, and look forward to a litle bit of spring weather before the 100 degree weather appears.

Our weather was fine the last two days - very interesting cloud formations and a bit breezy, and most importantly 20 degrees below the seasonal average for the date, which is typically in the high 80s F.  Today it only got up to about 67°F and it spit a little rain.  But the clouds were amazing, kind of those bright clouds they have in the British Isles.  They're calling for rain tomorrow, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we get it.

Ruth- I believe it rained last night, in Surprise at least! Hubby was more excited than me to see the rain! I have absolutely loved this weather, it is a miracle in the AZ valley to have such British type weather in the middle of April 90 degrees!  It's funny how cold, cloudy, damp, windy weather gets me out of the house and raring to go!! I just wished the rest of summer would have some breaks in the heat like this. Only another 7 months to go before it gets back down in the 90's during daytime hours!! Oh we do get some relief during the odd day or two in July/August - monsoons - but humidity in 110+ heat is a killer!!
