We're having weird weather - cold one day, warm the next.  Our highs today and tomorrow - 60-65 degree F. range.  Then back to normal 40's.  The trees and bulbs are trying to bloom in places.

It was 73° F today, with a slight balmy breeze and a few wisps of cloud.  Perfect.

A four hour drive, like its nothing! Here that would be reason to take a couple of stops, and an overnight stay. lol Enjoy it Ruth.

Weather here cold, wet, frost tonight, but Spring is coming.

Ah, but Ron, the reason a 4-hour drive over there seems like a long trip is because you go thru a million little towns and villages in the course of 4 hours.  There are only 3 communities between here and Las Vegas - Wickenburg, Wickieup and Kingman (of Route 66) fame.  That's a lot of open country, considering it's about 300 miles.  Some pretty dramatic scenery too.

We did a day trip over there - Wimborne Minster, Dorset to Bude, Cornwall.  That was a bit of a drive, but a feast for the eyes around every curve.  Can't wait to do it again, except next time, I think I'd like to see the middle of the country, maybe start out in E. Anglia and work our way across to the Black Country and Wales.

Hot, hot, hot - the cool rain and storms, then hot, hot, hot.

I cannot image temperatures as low as that Gonul!!  I moan about the heat but I wouldn't be able to handle that amount of cold.  The lowest I can remember here Mid Winter in the middle of the night is about -5C.  But during the day time a low of 15C would be unusual!
