Summer did not cum in at all!! we had 1 day of 30 degrees last week ( in Sydney) : that is it: one Summer's Day!!!! The rest is very English weather: Wet, wet, wet and cold. HELLO: this is not what Australia is supposed to be like in December-January-February. At least the UK is producing weather in Winter as per normal! (Is -8c in Surrey normal?) I can't get my head around such temperatures!! |

We've had a really strange winter--barely any snow and much warmer than usual temperatures. Tomorrow, it is going up to 45 degrees (7 degrees Celcius)--most unusual! I've only had to use my snowblower once this winter where I normally have to use it at least twice per week in a normal winter, and even then it was just to remove a paltry 3 inches (7.6 centimeters) of snow! What I don't like about warm winters in Michigan is that, oddly enough, people here tend to get sick a lot more than when the temperatures are much colder. My family has had more colds and flu in the past three months than in the past 5 years! |
