Our region had violent weather last week but the kicker was it also hit the places where I grew up with high winds, big breakers pounding the shore and a waterspout spotted directly offshore of Newport Beach. I am still stunned. Nothing like that weather had ever bothered us underneath our protected dome in South Orange County! Here It was an on again off again downpour with stiff winds and left us ever since with humidity. I absolutely hate that sticky stuff. Still humid but was overcast all day and the sun has nearly set and the sky is still grey, grey. Sue, Great Trip! Vaya con Dios |

It's 0920 and the temperature outside here in South Oxfordshire is only 8 degree C (46 degrees F). Hope it warms up for your trip, Sue., but be prepared for 'April Showers'

The birds are singing too ! You will see plenty of Red Kites now in South Oxfordshire, even over the towns and villages. Be prepared for the variability of British weather though. |

We are in for a day of heavy showers here in South Oxfordshire, sunshine between the showers. The temperature is geting a bit warmer though, it's now 12.5 degree C (55 degree F) at 10:00 hrs ...air conditioning definitely not required .... also some flood warnings out for rivers in the south-west of the UK. It can only get better for your trip !

Oh, perhaps I shouldn't have said that? Tell her you live in Timbuktoo in the WODC area, that should keep her busy, and away from our doors for a while! Love you really Sue...ha, ha, ha |
