Ruth, ahumbug is a sweet that tastes like cough medecine. Loved them when I was a kid but not now. I think Denzil is getting confused with salt fish. Filleted cod, dried in salt. You have to soak it over night to get rid of the salt and soften it up. Otherwise its like a plank of wood. But when cooked propper, it tastes fatastic. |
