Paul, That is my favorite version of that song; you can't beat Johnny!

Wolf, those roadtrains were amazing! I've never seen that before; good thing there outback with plenty of room to get around!  Can you imagine trying to turn one of those things around?!

Di, one of my sons used to drive a triple, but it's a job for a single man. They are away from home weeks at a time.

One of my former bus driver collegues used to drive road trains to an open pit mine; about a 2,000 mile round trip.

Thanks Wolf for that . Very interesting. What happened to the real long road trains that we saw when I was younger. There was a program on TV years ago, that showed a road train half a mile long.

But guess who the inventor of a piece of equipment was that was called the 'Ronani Vehicle Load Monitor' that could determine the weight plus or minus 2 kilo's per wheel, of all of those vehicles and what they carried? That is upto 254 vehicles! He was also granted a Patent but didn't make a cent out of it!! Who was that do you reckon?
