That how you got her back, recently, when she took off with Paul?

Care to shear the one that got her back, Denzil?  Maybe others could use it, if you wouldn't mind.  Or maybe it should be in your problem thread, for the lovelorn.  After pesky animals, it's the matters of the heart that cause the most problems.

No this is the poetry thread.  It needs to go here.

You've been hangin' around me too long, Denzil.  You're getting just like me.

I didn't ask you to write a new one.  I asked about the one you wrote to get her back from Paul.  You probably called her Winnie in that one.

Winifred, Winifred be my love

look at the size of my motorcycling glove

you know what they say of a man with big hands,

I'll show you what I mean down on Penzance sands

Come for a swim in the deep blue sea

Well its a little yellow really but I needed a pee

Still I'm quite a gent really as I'm sure you know

I usually get out when I need to go.

So there we are my love, will you be mine?

you needn't tell me now, you can take your time

I think you'll agree, I'm quite a catch

let me know Winifred, you've met your match
