We have the utmost respect for what you and your colleagues do, the selfless work day-in and day-out, helping others. Thank you. (though this is one of those times that simply saying thank-you doesnt quite seem enough) |

Looks like it Ruth, or maybe he's busy up the top field with his 4 sheep, I expect they're a little soggy after all the rain we've had. |

I will begin a course of tablets...I'm unsure of the name - my GP phoned me yesterday and he speaks as he writes his prescriptions, quickly and in the latter case, illegilbe :-) in September.... Here is a poem for you to ponder. My brother, who resides in Somerset, UK, has assured me - and I believe him - there are still some beautiful places to be seen in England...this poem could relate to many countries. Regards, Harry. AbandonmentOh, to walk again on England’s soil On which no man with greed despoil With unsightly steel machinery From whence the saddened eye can see The steam and smoke with noxious stench That to the stomach it must wrench No more to walk in treeless glade That no longer offers shade Nor dip one’s feet in river’s flow That fishes ne’er to adulthood grow Polluted beaches no more invite Their sandy shores, a poignant sight The county-side with abandoned junk A sign that common decency has sunk To a degree that some don’t care About the beauty that was to share That once was England’s tapestry A tribute to the Master’s artistry Cottages emroidered of brown and white And floral gardens of which poets write Of colors bright, and shades of green The likes before that none had seen Alas, how modern times have altered And perception of life now distorted Will our Earth ever again recover? And once again, become Nature’s mother
