WOW!

That is one fantastic shot. Maybe POE can make it appear in the thread, it's really wonderful. Oh, and be sure to submit it to the site.

I'm looking forward to seeing your and your wife's pictures.

Thanks, Sue.

Yes, she's a good clicker. There are more of her bird photographs here:

Fantastic! You wife has an eye for a picture. What kind of camera and lens does she use?

Hi. Sue.

It's a Canon EOS 20D, and the lens is a Sigma 70-210mm.

For this shot, I'm told the speed was 1/500, the aperture was 5.6, ISO 400, focal length 210mm - and flash was off!

Double-dutch to me!

Still double dutch to me as well, but one of the things I am going to be doing while laid up learn as much as I can about my new camera and my new 100 x 400 lens.

Thanks for the info John.

Sorry to hear you're laid up, Sue. Nothing too awful, I hope.

I broke my ankle a few years ago and was hobbling for a couple of months. Got more writing done than in any 2 month period before or since.

Being laid up can have compensations.
