No Ruth, they don't have any close enough and I don't like to drive alone in snowy weather the 160 odd miles to get to the nearest one so I do my own little patch alone.

I'll be on my way down there shortly, camera batteries charged and ready to go! I've just topped up the feeders and refreshed the water in the garden and I've already seen bluetits, great tits, a coal tit and a pair of goldfinches. It's a great life! |

We have a vast amount of snow (for us) outside, so I am going to try and squeeze my foot into a welly and get water out again today. Maybe I'll set my camera on it's tripod by the window, could get some good shots, |

I just spent a lovely morning outside reading and enjoying the bird life. As I type this there are 3 little Inca doves on the skylight above my desk. Here's the list of what's been in my yard or on my patio the last 2 days. Collared doves (my bird and his little mate :-), mourning doves, Inca doves, black-chinned sparrows, house finch, Abert's towhee, peach-faced lovebirds, Northern mockingbirds, Great-tailed grackles, American kestrel, Gila woodpecker, curve-billed thrasher and Anna's hummingbirds. I think the birds are loving the cooler weather.
