When I make my homemade stuffing for Thanksgiving and Christmas, I always use dried cranberries as a substitute for raisins.

 I bet you'd like this "Kugel noodle" receipe I just picked up recently with cranberries and dried apricots in it then...the fuit makes an topping kind of over the base "noodles".

Here's a simple recipe , even the kids can do it. :-

Lemonade Scones

Mix together:

1 cup thickened cream, ( double cream for USA)
375ml can lemonade
4 cups self raising flour and they turn out fantastic each time.

Cook in a very hot oven for 10-15mins

Ooo, that sounds great, Wolf.  I'll have to do the conversion though for the lemonade.  We don't do metric in our recipes.

I seem to recall a recipe for biscuits (not cookies, more like a scone) using Bisquick and beer.  Super simple.
