But this is the time for us to say very well done, and congratulations to Jamie and Emily, we are very proud grandparents!! The others will have their moment of glory in due course for sure. It's probably more of a result for Jamie because he was unable to attend school for a full 12 months due to some obscene bullying, where on one occasion he was stabbed in the head with a broken pencil among many other disgusting incidents. He has come out on top - very, very well done Jamie. Emily? Well she is a little younger than Jamie but has also done brilliantly well to get 2 A stars from her two exams. Very, very well done Emily we are very proud grandparents! By the way Emily is a brilliant cook, you should see her sponge cakes, phoarrh! No wonder I have put some weight on recently!!

Maybe POE can post a picture of their two stars so that we can see them? Poor Jamie! Kids can be brutal sometimes can't they? |

But you know Diana, Jamie had an unbelievable time, far too much to go into now but suffice to say because Sarah had just given birth - I took up the reigns! I involved the teachers, the Headteacher, the Board of Governors, the Police, the Schools Police Liason Officer, the local council pushing for an ASBO, the education Department in Oxford, Television, National and local newspapers, the local MP (Boris Johnson - now Lord Mayor of London), the Crown Prosecution Service, the Home Office, Tony Blair.....I kid you not!!! How much further could I go? It was impossible, and I can tell you the kids have got one hell of a fight on their hands just to cope with it all. In the end I convinced Jamie to release his inner thoughts and write about them. He sat at the PC and wrote about bullying for the past nine years!! In the end a little bit of advice from grandad helped him through it. I convinced him to face these whimps, to look them in the face and even if he couldn't look them in the face, look at their nose because they wouldn't know the difference. In other words 'he was staring them out' but they didn't realise it and they looked away. Bingo! Jamie had beaten them. With the support of a loving family Jamie came through it all and has part written the book titled Bullying, what bullying? I just hope he wants to finish it, if for no other reason than to help other kids. Well done Jamie!! |

She had the Crohn's in her mouth as well as her entire digestive tract. Her mouth looked like she had the mumps. Her cheeks were swollen as well as her lips and inside her mouth. Her mouth was also full of ulcers. The kids made fun of her lips. The school was no help. Fortunately we had to pull her out anyway so have not had to deal with the bullying anymore. Shame on the school for allowing such behavior.

He is a senior in High School, so I am hoping that the bullies have grown up by now and will leave him alone. He's a strong (personally) lad, but still, nobody likes a bully. |
