After the first class she is ready to drop it. Her anxiety has gotten the best of her. Please pray that her anxiety will cease and that she can enjoy the class with her peers. She needs this to become the Voice Actress/Over that she wants to be. |

I cured it by doing the very thing I feared and hated as well. People then said I should be on the stage--the first one out of town!--but that's another story. Tell her to go for it; she'll do ok; trust me.The stuttering finally went too, and if I can do it, anyone can. |

She used some tapes from a wonderful woman called Dr Weekes - and they really helped her. If you think Elsie might benefit, I'd be happy to send them to your email address. Paul - we have a lot in common! I stuttered when I was a kid, too. It made my life hell. I wrote a piece about it here: http://www.mnsu.edu/comdis/isad7/papers/ravenscroft7.html

Have Elise pretend she's on the Internet. My son wants his computer back, so I will be gone now until later. |

Tell her she has the good wishes of everyone at POE (hark at me, self appointed spokes-thingy) and that we know she can do it! |
