As some of you know (those whose email addys I have) I am doing the e-card route this Christmas. I love the cards, they can tell a story.

Do you think that one day snail mailing our Christmas cards will be obsolete? Will we all turn to the computer for our Christmas cards, like we have for our letter writing? (Back on topic  )

Well, I think that some of the e-cards are precious (like the one you sent, Sue!), and you certainly don't get the same great effects with a paper card! LOL! Still, there is something to be said for getting paper cards and putting them on the mantle or (like me) hanging a pretty ribbon across the door ways inside my house and hanging them from there.

I hope not!!!

There is more said about the personal touch which,in my opinon,is more important.

There is something nice about our pc's yet,if we lose the desire for handwritting and taking the time for finding that certian something for those we care about, well,it would be just about over for me ...

I LOVE pretty Christmas cards, especially ones with Robin's on.

I must admit though, I fight with it as far as the environment goes. I do try to recycle Christmas cards, and I have a very hard time throwing away the ones that are just so adorable.

I'm in two minds. I've certainly never sent e-Christmas cards before.

Well I make gift tags out of the ones that are cute enough and small enough to do that with. I've also cut out parts of the picture to make my own decorations on gift wrap. But if all else fails I'll put them in the recycle bin.

Its got to be real tangible cards for me . Something about actually holding a thing in your hand that somebody has taken the care and attention to write just for you .

That and its good for the economy LOL . Somebodys got to make it , pack it , sell it and of course deliver it !

So it's a balance between the ecomony and the environment  .
