My laptop where most of my pictures are saved.

My pictures are my memories, I would be loath to lose them and most of them could not be replaced.

Bill,

i lost my home to an arsonist,lost everything,,,except,grabbed my wallet cell phone and charger,a gym bag with a few clothes,some family pics,that was all i had time for,this happened back in the fall of 2004.

I wouldn't try to save anything, belongings can be replaced and most of our pictures are online on Flckr anyway.

It was a very bad time for me,and yes,when you open the front door at 4 am  top (second floor)and see nothing but flames on where the staircase schould be,really puts things into perspective...

That must have been a terrible experience Richard and doesn't bear thinking about.

I also would try to rescue my laptop, plus some precious photo albums, and a little box where I keep various special letters, postcards and certificates etc.

I do really agree with Lyn, saving your life is the most important thing. Anything else can be replaced, but it is easy saying that until it happens to you, then you don't know what you might do!

As long as my family (includes animals) were safe, thats all that matters.

But I tend to agree with what Ray said.
