My kids were given an small homeless kitten at the coast, that the Forrest Ranger had captured, as someone had dumped mamma cat, and her mother apparently taught them to eat tiny wee little crabs from the ocean for food, and we had quite the problem of breaking her off spiders to eat "cat food" because she thought spiders were those little tiny crabs. It was not unusal when she was little for her to be sitting there with an daddy-long legs spider half out her mouth squirming down her chin to get loose. I'm glad she long ago change to cat food.
