haha thats weird! :S

There's been panther sightings near where I lived in South London, they call it the Sydenham Beast, but that's probably just an urban legend. Maybe they're just slight slope lions.

We have Mountain Lions too. I've seen tracks but not the actual lion.

We have bears a bit further down the road at Tahoe but not around here.

Of course we have Rattle Snakes too, and I've been bitten once and can tell you, once bitten, twice shy.

We have all kinds of wildlife here , although in summer it seems to be mainly bugs ! We have rabbits in the back yard and a squirrel that likes to play with the dog lol . It comes down the tree to taunt him ! There are a lot of deer around here . You need to be very careful driving at night so as not to hit one . My wife is a 911 dispatcher and gets a couple of calls a week from people who have hit deer .

Did you know :-

It has recently been discovered that research causes cancer in rats.

It may be that your sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

Everyone has a photographic memory. Some don't have film.

Hi Hannah! Talking about panthers/large cats, I've seen two (or maybe the same one twice!) in the area where I live. The first one was a few years ago, it was standing in a field near Walkington, East Yorks. My sighting was confirmed by evidence of very large (puma) footprints in a Walkington residents' snow covered garden the next day. It made the local radio stations' news bulletin.

The next sighting I very nearly got on film. I was strolling down a leafy lane near Newbald, East Yorkshire....just about to take a picture of a pheasant on the lane when suddenly a huge black cat jumped out of the hedgerow, grabbed the pheasant and disappeared as fast as it had arrived. As it jumped back into the bushes, its' long tail rotated, unlike a domestic cats' tail would, and I would say it was three times the size of a cat. Both of the aforementioned were black, huge and not called kitty.

Andy, I didn't think there were any "wild" felids in the wild over there.  What do you have over there?
