LOL at Sue.

Krissy, sorry to hear of your brother.

Diana, nice story.

I believe as Krissy does, although have had no experiences as such.

I've had plenty of expereinces as an child and by my near death-expereince...I've always had an unseen "visitor" from time to time, and he moves iwth me, but not so much now as in the other houses where I lived and they were older homes, this house we have been the original owners. Moslty they just came in by opening up the door on thier own and that was it..I've heard my name  called before though also. Last Christmas I got an book about angels, actually two of them, one was discussing the history and what's known about them and the second about people's expereiences...and it made th eholdiays uplifting anspecial in ways. I am an collector of many things, and "angels" is up another one of them. My favorite is what I call "mama" angel and she has two wee ones, and they hold an tiny glass Christmas bulb in each hand, and the three of them help me "decorate" and do things for the Holidays every year. When I get undecided on something I ask them to send me the right messages. Has anyone ever made an man's "necktie" pillow or quilt for christmas, using men's neckties from thrift shops or old ones from the closet? I just recently hear about this idea. I know there must be fella "angels" out there also...but not to many speak about them...in TV-land.

Krissy, what happened to your brother? Lisa Williams was just here in Baltimore Oct. 20th but I couldn't get anyone to go see her with me.

Stephanie, I love those stories!

Sue - good one!!

When my husband's grandmother was about to pass on his mother and I spent the night at their apartment to help out his grandfather. I saw the most amazing thing ever! We watched out the balcony window that night where we saw a group of birds flying in circles just above the complex. They were flying at a great speed but all you could see was the bottom of white wings. They circled for about a half an hour and then disappeared. This was about 11 pm. The following morning she passed away about 5:15 in the morning. I heard her take her last breath. It was heart breaking. She was quite a lovely lady. I did not stay that night but Craig's mother did. She told me the next morning that about the same time as the night before just a single bird came back and flew in circles again just like the night before. He did just a couple rounds and then disappeared. It was as if they were welcoming her home and then letting us know she arrived safely!

After all the work I had done in doctor's offices, hospitals and nursing homes I have noticed that when people are getting close to the time of returning home to our Heavenly Father that they often times see loved ones that have passed before us. Those loved ones were sent to guide them along their journey.

It is amazing to me that when you have to prepare a person's body for the morgue after they have passed just how cold the room feels. There is a strange empty feeling in there.

Shirley, I have heard of the necktie projects. I collect Seraphim Angels by Roman. They usually sell in gift shops.

I've never had any angelic encounters, but after my mum and dad died, three months apart, there would be this lovely smell of flowers in the house, it was really  distinctive, even when I had no flowers in the house. It lasted for about 2 month after my dad's death and then just vanished

Thanks for the link Lyn, I've just put in my favourites. Fab song.
